What counts as an envelope?

An envelope is one send: the documents, the people who sign them and the fields you place for each. It counts once, in the month you send it, however many documents, pages or signers it carries. Drafts never count. An envelope that is voided, declined or expires gives its count back, and a completed one always counts.

What happens when I reach a limit?

New sends stop and the screen offers an upgrade. Nothing already out for signature is touched, and signers are never blocked. The other limits work the same way: the step that would pass one, such as inviting a person or saving a template, stops and names it. The envelope count resets on the first of each month. The rollover question below says what carries over.

Do unused envelopes roll over?

Yes, on Solo, Pro and Enterprise. Envelopes you do not use in a month carry forward, up to ten months' worth: 250 on Solo, 1,000 on Pro and 3,000 on Enterprise. Each send uses this month's envelopes first, then the ones that rolled over. Free does not roll over.

Do signers need an account?

No. Each signer opens their own link in any browser, on a phone or a computer, and signs with no account and no app. Only the people who send documents have accounts, and they count toward the plan's people.

Can I change plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in Settings, Billing, and the price of the change is shown before you confirm it. Moving up is charged today for the rest of the period, prorated. Moving down applies at once and gives a prorated credit on your next invoice. You can cancel in two clicks, and the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Yes. Solo is $120.00 a year instead of $144.00, Pro is $290.00 instead of $348.00, and Enterprise is $970.00 instead of $1,164.00: 2 months free.

Is there a refund?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for your first payment on a paid plan: cancel within 30 days of it and we refund it in full on request. Later payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it. The Terms of Service have the details.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

The database and your documents are on Supabase in the United States, and the application runs on Railway, also in the United States. Documents are encrypted at rest under a key that belongs to your workspace, in a private bucket with no public links. The Privacy Policy lists every provider we use.
